It's almost over, but Emma turned 16 today. We only do parties every other year so this year was a family party but she had a list of things that she wanted to make the day special. 1. Pancakes with blueberries, whipped cream and a candle for breakfast. 2. A tiara which she wore to church. Everyone knew it was her birthday today. 3. A dark chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and Moose tracks ice cream. 4. Beef jerky to snack on during the day. 5. A Starbucks Mocha Cooler from the cooler near the register at Walmart. 5. Tuna Helper for dinner.
Too funny. I hope she had a good one. We also went and had keys for the car and van made for her. She thought that was so cool.

Happy sweet 16 Emma, I hope it was wonderful and I hope you enjoy your 16th year of life. Remember Mom and Dad still have really good advice. Even Grandpa Phil =) Tell him to bring you to california so he can teach you to ride the waves or dive-in when they are way too high..
You might have already done all that but not in california........
